Purchase AIMAll Professional

AIMAll operates either in Professional mode or Standard mode.

To operate AIMAll in Professional mode, a valid aimallpro.lic file must be present in the main AIMAll directory.

AIMAll Professional enables some major new features compared to the Standard mode.  Currently, these new features involve the visualization of data and the use of multiple processors for AIMAll jobs.  Some upcoming new features may also only be enabled in AIMAll Professional.

AIMAll Professional licenses must be purchased.

Purchases of AIMAll Professional contribute to the development of the AIMAll package, which is and has been funded entirely by TAK and TK Gristmill Software.

AIMAll Standard

The AIMAll Standard operating mode is the default mode.  It does not require an aimallpro.lic file and is free of charge, though registration is required.   The AIMAll Standard operating mode imposes a limit on the size of the molecular wavefunction data that can be used for running multi-processor calculations and for generating visualization-related data files (*.*viz) by AIMQB, AIMExt, AIMInt and AIMSum, and displaying them with AIMStudio.  This limit is 10 or fewer atoms and 200 or fewer primitive basis functions.  Depending on the evolution of AIMAll, future versions of AIMAll may also impose limits on the Standard mode for other new features.

AIMAll Professional

The AIMAll Professional operating mode does not impose any multi-processor limits, visualization limits or other limits on the size of the molecular wavefunction data.  A valid aimallpro.lic file must be present in the main AIMAll directory in order for AIMAll to operate in AIMAll Professional mode.  An aimallpro.lic file is specific to a single computer.  An aimallpro.lic file must be purchased as part of a an AIMAll Professional License Pack.  An aimallpro.lic file is permanently valid on the corresponding computer for any version of AIMAll released within at least one year from the time that the aimallpro.lic file is issued.

AIMAll Professional License Packs

AIMAll Professional licenses are sold in "Packs" for either 2 or 10 computers.

The price of an AIMAll Professional License Pack is dependent on the intended use, the number of computers licensed and the years of maintenance desired.

Maintenance includes email support and free AIMAll Professional updates within the maintenance period.  The latter means that an aimallpro.lic file purchased with 3 years of maintenance, for example, is permanently valid on the corresponding computer for any version of AIMAll released within 3 years from the time that the aimallpro.lic file is issued.

Academic research or education and Government research are common examples of Non-Commercial use.

Payment Methods

AIMAll Professional License Packs can be purchased online with a Credit Card or by Wire Transfer (Bank Transfer) or by paper mailing a Check or Money Order.  All funds must be in U.S. dollars (USD).

Purchase AIMAll Professional Online (via PayPal) With a Credit Card

The simplest and quickest way to obtain AIMAll Professional License Packs is to purchase them online through PayPal using either a Credit Card or funds from your PayPal account if you have one.  Please note that a PayPal account is not required for Credit Card purchases.  To proceed:

1. Select the Type of AIMAll Professional License Pack you want.
2. Enter the Name and Email address of the License Recipient, i.e., the primary person who will be receiving the aimallpro.lic files.
3. Click the "Buy Now" button.  You will be taken to a secure PayPal website where your purchase transaction will occur.  Note that you will be given the opportunity to purchase multiple AIMAll Professional License Packs in one transaction if you so choose.
4. After your purchase transaction, you will be Emailed a receipt from PayPal and, within 24 hours (usually much less), a PDF receipt from TK Gristmill Software.

1. Send an Email to aim@tkgristmill.com to request an AIMAll Professional order form.
2. We will send you back an AIMAll Professional order form as a pdf file attachment.  This order form includes complete contact information and the U.S. Federal Tax ID number of TK Gristmill Software.
3. Fill out the AIMAll Professional order form (and / or your organizations own purchase order form, if applicable) and Email it to aim@tkgristmill.com or paper mail it to the postal address given on the order form. 
   
4. Once your order form has been received, we will Email you a corresponding Invoice, usually within a few hours. 
   
5. Once you receive an Invoice for your desired order, you should paper mail a copy of the Invoice along with a corresponding Check or Money Order to the postal address given on the Invoice.  The Check or Money Order (in USD) should be made payable to:  "TK Gristmill Software". 
   
6. Once your payment has been received and processed, we will Email you a PDF receipt from TK Gristmill Software.

or Purchase AIMAll Professional by Wire Transfer

Getting Your AIMAll Professional License Files

After your payment has been received, you will be prompted by Email to send us aimall-serialnumber.txt files for the computers you wish to use your AIMAll Professional licenses on.

An aimall-serialnumber.txt file is generated automatically in the main AIMAll directory (e.g., C:\AIMAll\aimall-serialnumber.txt) the first time you run any of the AIMAll programs in Standard mode on a computer.

After we receive your aimall-serialnumber.txt files and after the transfer of funds has been officially approved, we will Email you corresponding aimallpro.lic files.   An aimallpro.lic file for a given computer should be saved in the main AIMAll directory (e.g., C:\AIMAll\aimallpro.lic).

If you purchased a License Pack for N computers, be sure to Email N separate aimall-serialnumber.txt files, one for each of the N different computers you wish to run AIMAll Professional on.
